Slingsby Consulting Pty Ltd is a South Australian advisory company. We help businesses grow through Project Approvals, Director Services and Strategic Advice.
We work with business owners, directors and boards on the decisions and processes that shape their organisations' growth. That includes navigating the approvals that major projects depend on, supporting directors to meet their responsibilities, and providing independent strategic advice when important choices need to be made.
Our aim is simple: to give clients clear, practical advice and the structured support they need to act on it.
The company behind Slingsby Consulting has been operating in South Australia since 1994. The name is newer than the firm. In March 2024 it became Slingsby Consulting Pty Ltd, a strategic advisory practice for clients who need the options set out plainly before they commit. The earlier years ran under other names, including a long period in specialist finance. What carries through is the same thing clients still come for: a clear view, taken in this state, before the decision is made.

Principal
Helena leads engagements and is the person a client deals with from
first call to final recommendation. She spent fifteen years inside operating businesses in South Australia before moving to advisory work, and she is more interested in a decision the board can defend than in a long report. She keeps the scope tight and says so when a matter needs a lawyer or an accountant rather than a strategist
Engagement Lead
Marcus runs the work once a proposal is accepted: interviews, options papers, and the workshop where the choice is actually made. He is good at getting a divided room onto the same set of facts. Clients use him when a growth call, a restructure, or a succession question has stalled between the owners and the people who have to carry it out.
